December 2012 - Data Security Risk Assessments

Topic

This collaborative presentation focuses on a method of risk assessment that will not only help drive innovative audit planning but will lead management to look at data security in a new way. Traditional risk assessment exercises combine Impact with Likelihood analysis to prioritize risk areas. We will take a creative approach to this time-honored technique to drive new insights into identifying and managing data security risks.

This will not all be theory. We will work together to create an example data security risk assessment template on the fly using the collective experience and creativity of the group.
